Festivalen arrangeras i Malmö och bjuder in till två dagar av kunskap, kreativitet och konkret arbete för klimaträttvisa och rättvis omställning. Förutom workshops och diskussioner kommer vi också bjuda på kulturarrangemang och härlig gemenskap!
Vi tror att sociala rörelser för rättvisa måste samarbeta för att kunna lyckas, och ser gärna deltagare från feministiska, antirasistiska och lokala demokratirörelser.

Värdegrund för Klimatfest(i)valen 2018

Vi som är på Klimatfest(i)valen har olika social, organisatorisk och politisk bakgrund. Det är vårt gemensamma ansvar att träffen blir en plats där vi, och andra, kan trivas. För att underlätta så att träffen blir en trygg plats för alla har en överenskommelse skapats. Alla som kommer till Klimatfest(i)valen förväntas att aktivt tänka på och följa överenskommelsen.

Under Klimatfest(i)valen lovar jag att bidra till:

kärlek och positiv energi

• Vi tar hand om varandra.
• Vi uppskattar varandras olika ideér, kunskaper och erfarenheter.
• Vi samarbetar konstruktivt för att hitta de bästa lösningarna.

delad, ärlig och öppen kommunikation

• Vi lyssnar på varandra.
• Vi delar taltid och annat utrymme rättvist/respektfullt under festivalen.
• Vi anstränger oss för att ge varandra – och själva ta emot – konstruktiv feedback.

• Vi försöker förstå varandras perspektiv.
• Vi bemöter varandra med respekt.
• Vi är öppna för att lära oss av människor med annan erfarenhet än vi själva.

• Klimatfest(i)valen är ett utrymme fritt från förtryckande -ismer, såsom exempelvis rasism och sexism.
• Upptäcker jag att jag inte förstår en orättvisa som en annan person/samhällsgrupp utsätts för, är det mitt ansvar att lära mig mer.

ickevåldsmetoder

• Vi använder inte något slags våld under Klimatfest(i)valen för att uppnå våra mål.
• Vi är aldrig med och bidrar till att eventuella konfrontationer under en aktion trappas upp, utan agerar deeskalerande.
• Vi deltar frivilligt – men alltid enligt icke-våldsprinciper – i aktioner av olika slag, såväl lagliga som med inslag av civil olydnad, och påverkar ingen att vara med mot sin vilja.

The preparations are in full swing – the location is set for the festival that will be in Malmö and the program is set!

The festival will take place in Malmö and we invite you to two days of knowledge sharing, creativity and concrete work for climate justice. There will be workshops and discussions and also cultural events and community feeling!
We believe that social movements for justice has to work together to be successful and would love to see participants from feministic, anti-racist and local democratic movements at the camp. ¨

Code of conduct for Klimatfest(i)valen 2018

Participants and creators of Klimatfest(i)valen come from different social movements, organisations and political backgrounds. It is our common responsibility that the festival is a place where we, and others, can feel at home. To make sure the festival is a safe place for everyone, a code of conduct for the camp has been created. Everyone who attends the festival is expected to actively think about, and follow, this code of conduct.

During Klimatfest(i)valen I promise to contribute with:

Love and positive energy

• We take care of each other
• We appreciate each other’s ideas, knowledge and experiences
• We work together constructively to find the best solutions

Shared, honest and open communication

• We listen to each other
• We share speaking time and other space during the festival
• We make efforts to give – and accept – constructive feedback

Respect and humbleness

• We try to understand each other’s perspectives
• We treat each other with respect
• We are open to learning from other people with more experience than ourselves
• During the festival, prefiguring the society we want to create, there is always room to be oneself
• The festival is a space free from oppressive -isms, like racism and sexism
• If I found myself not understanding an injustice that another person/group in society are exposed to, it is my own duty to get educated about it

Non-violence

• We do not use violence to achieve our goals
• We are never a part of escalating any confrontations during an action
• During the festival, there will probably be actions held. Actions may contain civil disobedience. To participate in civil disobedience is voluntary. What actions may contain disobedient elements will be made clear during the camp and they will all apply non-violence methods.
